need some help from the shot makers in here

Been working on a shot maker off and on for about a year I have went from #4 to about #7 trying for #9 right now I'm using old sewer pipe from all that I have read is pure lead will ww make smaller shot than pure I have hundreds of #s of lead pipe but maybe 100# of ww making 2 new test drippers to night one at .018 and .016 any info I would be very thiankful

Try a hole size of around .022 to .024" for #9 shot . Pure lead is all I use for shot but it is only used for skeet shooting .

m using MIG tips right now but I have someone machining a dripper like the littleton to see if I can get down to #9 if it works ill buy a set off ebay the MIG tip is a .023 my prototype has 7 drippers the other one has one dripper so I can experiment with

My understanding is the dripper hole should be 1/3 the size of the desired shot.
