how to get Lee mold off Lee handles?

Want to remove the handles that came with a 2-c Lee mold.

Drill out pin?

Drill out from top?

Pull out with teeth?

If so, I take an exacto knife and trim the aluminum that has been peened around the hole that holds the pin. Then a magnet or a light tap should make that pin fall out...be aware that the handles may bind that pin and if so, try moving the handles while you try to drop that pin. It has worked for me the one time I tried it.

Hold the mold over your melt, eventually something will fall off into your melt splashing lead all over.

After removing the crimp a light tapping with a non marring hammer will walk the pin out. A shot of Kroil will help. When going back, stake the pins.
