I was finally able to get out this morning and try the White Eagle 410 grain "crater" boolits. This was my first attempt at firing a group from 100 yards. As you can see in the photo, I simply drew a circle in center of a paper plate to use as a target. I couldn't see my black circle from 100 yards, so simply placed the cross hairs on center of the plate. I fired three shots. The top two holes at top of my photo are holes from my first group, and the third shot went above the plate. I screwed the verticle knob down eight clicks and shot three more boolits. This group wouldn't win many contests but it certainly would work well on deer or Black bear don't ya think? My rifle is an 1895 "cowboy" in .45/70.
