I'm interested in loading some slugs for my 10ga Browning BPS. I haven't found much info on this combination and wanted to poll the forum to see if anybody out there has worked up anything in regards to this. As always, Thanks for all your informed advice!

I don't have a 10 gauge, but out of curiosity, I searched the topic using the Google search: http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=001951264366462437169:ggn3vg-bjum

Looks like a Lyman 12 gauge 525grain Huge airgun pellet in a steel shot wad, or a .735" roundball in a regular 10 gauge wad works.

To keep it simple I use a one piece 10ga VP100 BPI wadcup.
Seal, cushion, cup all in one piece. It is thick sided wadcup,
and a .687" 730-760gr 69cal Minie slugs goes in it.
Hollowbase slug and I expand hollowbase about .015".
Being hollow it works fairly well in smooth which all 10 gauges
that I have seen are. And we use only the seal on the wad and
our slower RE17 powder starting at 150gr on up.
By using our larger amounts of slow powder we don't have to
get separate seals and a stack of cushion wads.
I shoot it in 31" bull barreled NEF SB2 10ga goose gun,
with the modern alloy frame and barrel.

The 69cal Minies are at Dixie Gunworks and on
Gunbroker, seller name is BLUE FALCON....Ed
