Here's a Krag converted to single shot and barreled/chambered in .22 Maximum Lovell. (Think of an AI'ed R-2 Lovell.) Gun was built by Hervey Lovell himself sometime pre-WWII.

Here's the unique set triggers that are fitted to it. Anybody ever see one like this? I'm told it may have been made by Pacific, way back when. By depressing the front trigger, the trigger arm is caught by the hook on the rear trigger. Rear trigger adjustable to a sneeze-worth of engagement, and when touched, the front trigger arm flies up and hits the kicker and the rest is history.

She shoots, too:

That's 4 shots, 100 yards, .350" (I didn't have the balls to fire the fifth shot!), 50gr. Sierra Blitz, 16.5gr. H-322, CCI BR primer, 70 year old W.R.A. .25-20 Single Shot cases. The rest of the 50 shot range session produced five shot groups averaging between 1/2-3/4", with one ten shot group going slightly under an inch.
Not bad for a 113 year old milsurp, converted to sporting use 75 years ago.
