I had a 401-175-TC mold and a .401 sizer kit back ordered from Midway, maybe a month, and that order arrived today..:happy dance:

The mold cost a whole $19.99 and the kit $18.99. Have you seen what they're getting for this stuff on EBay??

It looks like Lee has changed their design a bit on their new molds..

All the mold instructions look about the same. I'll try to cast some up this weekend..

I have several of the Lee new style molds. I think they are a great improvement over the older design. I do drill and tap mine for a set-screw on the sprue plate screw which takes about 15 minutes. They cast good bullets and I think you'll be pleased.
Good Luck and enjoy,
Rick

Do a search, plenty of earlier discussion on the new style Lee moulds.

Check the bottom edges of the sprue plate. Mine was scratching the top of the mould out of the box. The new Lee moulds can be a pain to get the oils out and stop wrinkling. Repeated cleaning doesn't work as well as just dunking the mould in the melt until it is very hot and cooking the stuff out.

nice, might start molding next year. I notice from castboolits give good ideas where to start than rushing into something
