What are people using for the 218 bee, 25-20 etc for a shell holder.
Had some guys say the recommended RCBS #1 shell holder isn't a very good fit.

I got a shell holder with my rifle when I bought it that is a good fit, but has no number on it.

RCBS #! has been working for me for years on 32/20 and 218 bee. That's the number.

I use a #1 also, seems to work fine on my .218 brass.

They must have a bad shell holder. Said the shell kept popping out of the holder when trying to prime unless they held it to the back so the back lip would hold.

A mismarked shellholder is not out of the realm of possiblity. Years ago I bought two Redding shellholders supposedly for the 7.62x54R at a gunshow. I buy two so I can have one on the ram and one for the RCBS hand primer.

Imagine my surprise when the cases didn't fit. It really wasn't worth the effort to send them back to Redding; I ended up using them for something else, .45 Colt I think.

He brought the holder over last night. his opening measured 0.385. Mine measured 0.350. definitely a mismarked holder. I gave him RCBS's toll free number and told him to call them, Its way to far to town to just go get one
