So I've got this '58 Pietta Navy that I'd like to change the grips on with those for a '60 Army. I understand that the Army's are slightly larger, so they should fit my hand better. So, my question is, do I need to replace the mainspring along with the backstrap and grips? From the schematics I've seen, the mainsprings a different #'s.
Thanks,
Brian

You're not going to get a Colt gripframe to fit a Remington revolver.

Oh well, that kinda bites. Guess it'll be just one more thing I'll have to live with. There are numerous other things I can put the money towards anyway.

Like a '60 Army? They really do feel quite nice in the hand. C'mon, you need more revolvers, right? I see Pietta is making a '73 Colt with the '60 Army grip frame on it as well. For shooting cartridges for a guy with big hands that ought to be pretty nice too.
