I bought several ingots from Rotometals really before I new for sure what I should be buying. So now I am trying to find a way to estimate what BHN I will get when I mix the ingots I have made.
For example, if I melt (3) two pound ingots of 1:30 alloy with (1) two pound ingot of Linotype will I raise the BHN up from 9 to say 12 by the addition of the Antimony in the Linotype? Is there a easy to use table that shows this kind of calculation or is it just alloy it and test with pencil to see what you have made? Since it is a 4 part alloy can I just assume that I will now have 3% Antimony in the total alloy mix and then used Rotometals alloy formula?

Smokepole50,
That combination will get you 12.4 bhn (3.42% Tin, 3% Antimony, 93.6 Lead) 8lbs total weight
Forum member bumpo628 put together an alloy calculator for just this reason.

Thank you very much Doc for pointing me in the right direction. I was looking at this post but did not see the final edited link at the bottom. Very useful excel file. Many thanks to all that created it.

I love that spreadsheet. With no wheel weights in Cali it comes in really handy.

At the top of the saved EXCEL file it should say ENABLE EDITING. Click this and plug in your numbers.
