The description of this section says "Start right here when you buy a new mould..."

A few weeks back, a member sent me a coupla' pounds of NOE's .223 60 gr. RNGCs to play with. I tried 'em in my new Savage Axis and the first thing that really impressed me is that they chamber flawlessly.

I had been experimenting with the NOE 225107 and the 225 Bator at subsonic velocities. About half of the 107s would chamber from the magazine or just laid in the receiver. None of the Bators would chamber bolt fed. I had to pick the rifle up, put the barrel down and drop them in.

The 60 RNs chambered so well, I tried speed chambering to see just how well they worked. I closed the bolt as fast as I could and they went right in.

Saturday morning, I placed an order with NOE for a three banger in that pattern. That afternoon, I got an automated email that my order had been shipped! Am I still on planet Earth?

I'm sure there are a lot here who will not be surprised at all this positive feedback I'm writing. This, however, is my first personal experience with NOE. I have a a strange feeling it won't be my last.

Al, a big thumb's up and my hat is off to y'all, buddy!

Just joined the club myself! Recently noticed a few of the RD311165 clones up for grabs & pounced on a 5-cav. First non-Lee (& >2-cav) mould I've owned, & boy is the difference in workmanship obvious! While I did have to (briefly) fight the urge to not tarnish this beautiful work of art by using it, that didn't last long at all before it found itself vigorously scrubbed and warming on the pot!:bigsmyl2:

Did a couple runs just to heat-cycle it & get it broken in before attempting to throw 'good' boolits. Still getting used to it, but I did manage to produce a few hundred 'keepers' this weekend. My only remaining problem is getting consistent fillout on the base & the tiny band right above the GC - having a heck of a time getting those to fill out properly regardless of melt/mold temp. Also seeing an increasing percentage sticking in the cavities the more I use it; think I'll give it another good scrubbing before the next run & see if that helps.

Great products+fast shipping x mould quality/ happiness= NOE

It's a mathematic equation.

My wife calls Swede, my "mold pimp". When I told her casting with Swede's molds is cheaper than chasing women, she said, "Hah, dogs chase cars!"

Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed....................lol!

Jim- if you shoot 45ACP, check out his 452-230-HP (small hp pin). Outstanding mold for both ACP and Colt.

Both Swede and Mihec send molds out they have in stock really fast. Of course I am on several group buys that can take over a year to get but both companys molds are worth the wait. I have a box full of both of their molds that I was able to look at last December but I have not got my casting and reloading room setup yet at the farm. Hopefully i'll be back the end of next year and can start playing with them. In the mean time I am still on several group buys and accumiliating more molds.
