Went to the NRA National Convention today

The wife and I got there about lunch time today. Lotsssss of exhibits and picked up a bunch of free stuff plus bought a bunch of stuff. I got some nice conceal carry jeans and shorts, new Bianchi holster for my 1911's, several shirts and other odds and ends.
I got a chance to talk to Oliver North and Glen Beck briefly. Didn't get a pic of Glen. I did get both to autograph a copy of their books. I got a pic of Jessie Duff and me. She gave me an autographed photo, a nice hat and T-Shirt.
I had a pic took of me and Oliver together but whoever took it didn't take it right because It's not on my phone that I gave them to take it with.
We had a great time. We had tickets to Becks show at 7:30 and didn't get out till almost 10:00. Oliver opened in prayer and he did a great job.

They are fun to go to. Been to 2 of them over the last 5 or 6 yrs, when they come thru this area, and I can drive to it within a reasonable amount of time.

Have been to the three that I could afford. Like Tony the tiger says "their Grrrrrrrreat!" and every NRA member should try to make at least one. Would love to have one in Omaha!

It took me 2 days to go through the NRA convention. This is the second that I have been to and plan on making more. Everyone should go at least once, preferably more often. The exhibits are great, the meetings are informative and not just Second Amendment stuff; includes home and self defense, financial, medical, etc. For those not NRA members, please join. Our rights are being used as a punching bag and if we do not stand up then the punching bag will fail and fall.
