Will the Lyman gas check seater work on a Lyman 45?

I don't see why not.
That part of the machine appears to me to be identical.

But -- You already have a gas check seater.

Use the wrench that comes with the Lyman 45.
Place the gas check on the base of the bullet, place the flat of the wrench across the top of the seating die then use the top punch to force the bullet solidly down into the gas check.
Remove the wrench then size the newly checked bullet.

Well I don't have the wrench but I think a piece of a thick saw blade will work. It may not even have to be very thick.

I am working on a swing away plate to seat GC's on a 45.
