Contact "Bullshop" on this forum. He is the producer of Bullplate. I know you'll enjoy the new mold.

Got the mold in today, threw some boolits, works nice, still getting used to what this mold likes. I did snap a couple pics with my phone.

Nice looking pile o' boolits! Nothing like a quality mold to make lots o' boolits.

Looks like a H&G 68 copy, or near to it. Should be a really great one,
.45 ACP loves this design.

Awesome mold. I got the 4 banger in brass last month.

Somehow my accuracy and feed reliability have improved dramatically. And my sprue whacking stick is gathering dust again. I now see why so many people swear by the 68

Great choice. I hope Tom doesn't get burned out, it seems that he is a making a lot of people very happy in the last few months. Hey maybe another one of you salt lake guys could offer to help him out in exchange for a few molds!

Anyway keep up the great work Tom! A couple rifle molds are on my wish list

Load over 3.8 gr of Titegroup to a LOA of 1.250 to 1.260 for a
target load. Use 4.8 gr for a pretty much full power load - my
IPSC load for the last 15 years or more.

Taper crimp with a tc die as a separate operation, to about .471

H&G 68 is one of the very best designs for the .45 ACP. You will
be pleased over the long haul.

Thanks for the info, I've actually been shooting H&G 68 for about 20 years off and on, just decided to get a new mold, and custom sized a little big, My latest 1911 has a barrel that slugs @ .452, and old Lee mold would only drop at .452" wanted to size at .453".

If I can find any TG, I'll give it a try, loading 4.0 of Clays right now for IDPA

Clays is clean burning, and I have a BUNCH, but it hasn't done
notably well in . 45 ACP for me so far. I need to test it more, tho.

Bill, I have been shooting Conventional Pistol (Bullseye) for 28 years and have found nothing that shoots better than Bullseye powder.
Some shot as well but none better. It is so dirty that I have to clean my gun every 500 rounds or so.

I now use Titegroup, near perfect match for the great BE. I like both very well.
Nearly interchangeable in this cartridge.
