Saw Contender first generation (no safety) with 14 in barrel with muzzle tamer in 44mag.Barrel was "Bubba blued "due to rust.Grips Pacmar. Reciever had some wear.Trigger sweet.4 tap screws on barrel look buggered.Bore looked fine.....$149.00 Buy?

I would buy that without a second thought. Trying to decide which route to take for a single shot, if I saw that it would make the decision for me!!!

Screws are replaceable. Bluing can be redone.
A Contender with a good trigger and a decent bore for $149.00? Where do I get in line?
If you don't want it buy it for resale.
