Maybe I can get someone who knows. I have tried the web and Forums but can not get what I am looking for. "What is WANO Powder"? I have came into many 1lb plastic bottles of it. One forum said there is NO powder made by Wano. Others (down under) say it's the best they can get. The bottles have on the label, top, WANO Schwarzpulver Kunigunde (and the address in Liebenburg)
1 lbs 0.4536 Kg
Sporting Powder PP
0.7-0.93
1992
This is on the front lable. The powder looks like small black sand. I put 65 gr of it in my BPCR (45-70) it had no compression at all, it's like a smaller 5744 powder. Can it be used in the BPCR, if so, how? Or is it for muzzle loaders Thanks for your time Beng

It's blackpowder, you might want to get ahold of Schuetzen Powder and ask Jim about the PP designation,if your positive its PP and not FF?

"What is WANO Powder"? It's the same powder marketed in Europe as Schuetzen is marketed in the US. Both powder are made by Wano Schwarzpulver Company in Germany.

WANO comes in 2 types eg traditional Fg, FFg etc and P, PP, etc. The "P" stands for precision and is much better in particle size (less +/-), chemical makeup - more KNO3 and uses a better charcoal (alder NOT beech).

I have been to 3 world BP championships and would use nothing else.
