Ordered this at my local dealer he said would take about a week, now for my question, anyone have a favorite bullet/load combo for this thing, I wan't to plink and take the occasional 50-75 yard thick woods deer.

Like a dummy I sold my Lee mold and dies a few years ago, so now I have to buy them again.
Can I shoot +P loads in this thing?
:-D

Congrats.

I don't have any real load info yet, but these are real strong and you can easily go +P loads without trouble. The 16" M92 is my favorite pistol caliber rifle.

I have the 20 something inch Rossi 92.
My favorite load, after lapping the barrel, is Saeco's 300 grain gas checked bullet sized .454 in front of 20 grains of H110, Winchester large rifle primer.
The muzzle flash is spectacular.

Guess what, :-D I was rumageing(sp) thru an old cabinet and found my Lee carbide dies in .45 Colt, also found a Lee crimp die, woo hoo I thought I sold those things on Ebay back a few years, looks like I only sold the Lee mold.
Now all I need to do is get a mold, any suggestions?

My favorite mould for the 45LC in rifle or handgun is the LEE 300gr rnfp.
Just be sure to buy the 2 cavity version, as the 6 cavity has a more rounded profile.
Load them over 18.5-20 grains of 2400 and go kill anything that walks.
For a nice reduced, yet powerful hunting load, without a lot of rip and snort at the back end, try 6.5 grains of Red Dot. It should exit around 1000fps and be plenty for deer and hogs at moderate ranges.
