My youngest is just 5 months, so I have a few months to find just the right weapon. lol

My grandson got a Cricket for his 3rd. Christmas present. It did arrive late, but he didn't care. He will not get to fire it for a while yet, but he loves to hold it and look at it.

My grandson (2 years old) has a cricket. He just doesn't know it yet. It is the same one my daughters and then son started with when they were 4 and 5 years old.
They are light weight and great for them to learn the basics on. his first rifle will most likely be a savage 340 in 30/30 cal, but that could change. He may be like his dad and grandad and shoot left handed, at which point he would get some type of lever.
mine got hers at 6mo. buy the way thats a cute one
