A guy gave me some TL lee 180 .40, said he had given up on them as they leaded too bad.
I wanted to buy that mold, so I tried his bullets first. They feed flawlessly, but lead terribly(actual shards of lead in the barrel).
Yes, Yes, I know I need to slug the barrel, but can I go below 4 gr bullseye?
They seemed pretty punchy, even though I changed my disc down from the 5gr I was running with jacketed. I just want a very light plinker that cycles, does'nt have to be super accurate(just cheap!).

Update,
I just tapped one of the bullets through the barrel, way too easily!
They mike a big .402 going in, .400 coming out. I suspect the lead is very soft too.

For my light target loads I shoot 3.0 BE in my .40 S&W (4046 S&W) 180 gr & shoots accurate but does pull threads of lead in the rifling from Commercial cast 18BHN @.401" I haven't had a chance yet but I have some BHN11 Boolits to try! Just waiting on primers!!!!

I use 3.5 loaded to mag length. Plenty accurate for plinking.
