But RCBS bullet sizing dies work in Lyman dozers, correct?

It can go the other way too, Lyman in a RCBS LAM. The Lymans which I have just don't seem to work as nicely as the RCBS dies. The .358 Lyman leaks a little lube out the bottom.

MTtimberline, I've had that exact same problem with the .355-.358 sizers from Lyman... But not the others...curious...

That is the only one that does it for me. Doesn't make an oozing mess but enough that it is noticeable and got me wondering about it. I've tried removing it, cleaning it and resetting it but it does it regardless. I am also now curious if others experience this with just this size.

Well, not sure about that particular size. But a lot of people do with the lyman sizers....

Something just feels better about using a RCBS compared to the Lyman for me. I just wish the LAM still had the ratchet handle on the lube pressure. I can't get the plastic knobs to stay on the sliding tee handle mine has. I want to find a way to modify it but just haven't gotten to it yet.

They are 'supposed' to. I had to send back an RCBS to have it turned down about .001 (guessing) so it would fit in my Lyman 450. It was a .356 sizer. Took about 10 days but got it back and it slid right in...and doesn't leak.

If it's that close, some sandpaper and elbow grease will make for a faster turnaround...

Yeah, if I'd have known how much I guess I could have tried - just kinda ticked me off that it wouldn't even start to slide in. I have since purchased a mic and have learned a lot about diameters of bullets (as cast with different alloys), barrels, and....sizing dies.

I was wondering this very thing. I have been wanting to buy a sizer and with all the mania going on it's hard to find one. I was reading reviews about interchangeability of the sizers and then reading product reviews were contradicting what the manufactures were claiming.

All I have are 3 Lyman #45s. Never a problem unless I heat the sizer to high. But that is MY fault not Lymans

Well, I ordered to of them today... I needed a .225 for my AR, and a .310 for both my CZ-52 and a 30-06 bolt gun I recently bought. So we'll see for sure when they come in. I tell you one thing though. They sure are proud of those things these days. Basically $25 a pop...
