anyone had any experience with the NOE 265 gr GC in a 44 mag. I have a lyman 421 plain base 245 grain. IM looking for some suggestions on some good choices with /without GC for the 44 mag . tks for your time KEN

I love it and 19gr of 2400 does everything I need it to do!

My dad shoots that design from his Ruger redhawk/super redhawk as well as his lever action; shoots very well in all his firearms. He uses unique and 2400 for just about all his 44 magnum loads with this boolit. IIRC his mold has both the GC and PB cut into it and I think he shoots the PB more often.

This is basicly a copy of the ranch dog 44mag. 265 mould, minus the hollow point option. If it shoots as good as ranch dog's boolit you can't beat it. I shoot it in both my lever actions and revolvers.
