blue dot in a 45-70 ?

just loaded up the last of my RL7 and Unique :cry: in my Contender and as everyone knows their is none to be had. I do have a angle on some Blue Dot and I think I have read some where it will work in a 45-70. Any one have any info on this ? If so how did it work out and what kind of starting load am I looking at? Thanks for any info need to feed my contender soon!!!

I use Blue dot in a Marlin .444 and get fair results with it.
