I have this setup and it works great for rifle boolits, last night was the first time I've attempted to use it with pistol bullets.

The top punch pushes the boolit too far down and I end up with lube on the crown of the boolit?

I don't know how to adjust it so the bullet doesn't go as deep. As it was, I just paid careful attention and didn't push the boolit all the way down to finish out the handful I was doing.

How do I adjust the die/tool so that the boolit doesn't go so far down?

on the bottom of the press is an adjusting nut and a lock nut. Un-do the larger lock nut and adjust the smaller nut counter clockwise. Here is a link to a manual for the sizer.

Are you using a bevel base boolit? If so you have to have the bottom ram modified to fill in that bevel area or you will always have the lube there.
