Has anyone used this the Lee 200 452 swc tumble lube in a 45 colt case and ran it through a lever gun? The nose is flatish as I can stand it on its nose to dry, but small and not dead flat. I would like to use it for cowboy action loads but am unsure if the nose is flat enough to put in a tube mag. Has anyone tried it?

They won't feed in any of my lever guns.

You found them to be flat enough to not chain fire? If so I'll try: both Rossi s seem to feed anything if not I'll shoot them up in a pistol.
thanks!

I have used the H&G 68 and the lyman 452460 in my 45 colt rossi's, all three of them feed them just fine and shoot them pretty well.
easily well enough for cowboy shooting at 3' or 4' whichever it is they set the targets to now.

Yes, I have used that one in a Marlin 1894. Can't speak for all of the Marlin, but the one I tried ran great. Marlins seem to have individual personalities as far as this kind of feed/won't feed thing.

If you're looking for a superb lightweight bullet for your levergun; try NOE's 452-230HP. This is my "go-to" bullet in both 45ACP and 45 Colt (Rossi rifle). They fit and feel flawlessly. The only Lee bullet I've tried was their 230gr truncated bullet. BTW, hollowpointmolds dot com has the modified truncated as a hollow point on their website.

Just food for thought,

I haven't use the SWC TL, but I do shoot a lot of the Lee 200 gr RNFP's out of my Levers and my Taurus Thunderbolt, and they feed well and shoot accurately. I have even shot the 165 gr Lee RNFPs out of my rifles and they also feed well and shoot OK, but they hit to a different point of aim, and aren't quite as accurate as the 200's and 250's.
