Found an ad on craiglist. Tire shop had 2000 lbs of WW. I picked up 1200 lbs. So far not much trash. Going to take a while to to sort and smelt. Oh my aching back :-o

City/State? How much a pound? Any left?
I would imagine that there are a lot of guys out there that would be interested in availability. Dusty

It'd be nice to share the info on whats left so another local caster could benifit. Hope it's cheap and in West NY :)

I feel your pain coming. I smelted 1000 pounds sorted COWWs and 175 SOWWs this Tuesday. But I am ready to do more now!!!

Man, I wished I lived any where near you guys that can get 1000's of lb's of COWW's. I live in calif where they dont like lead, guns, freedom, democracy, conservatives, ect... there is no lead wheel weights around here at all. I have to trust Feebay people to purchase alloy from because I cant find a good source of COWW alloy that people want to sell.... I dont blame them at all, my stash is way down because I have been selling boolits to forum members on Marlinowners.com (yeah I read the thread of selling boolits, still debating on what to do about that) Sure wish I could find a good source of kind of cheap COWW alloy.
