Has anyone loaded these for a Marlin 1895? Could not locate any information on loads for them.

They are too long to function in the Marlin when crimped in the cannalure in full length brass. Some people use them by crimping over the ogive with a compressed load. I load them for my USRAC 1886 as it has a longer carrier. I started at around 46 gr of H4198 and worked my way up to 50gr for 2000fps, I could and have gone higher but recoil is very uncomfortable. As these bullets are designed for the 458 win mag they are rather tough and need to be driven fairly hard to get them to expand, they do work great in my 458 too. The only game I have taken with them is a decent sized Sitka Blacktail on Kodiak island 2 years ago. One through the throat patch at 73yds upended him with a smashed vertebrae and a half dollar sized exit.
