Newton rifle

Has any one ever tried cast boolits in a n original Newton two groove barrel? I have had good results with two groove Springfield s.

IIRC- Mr. Newton was a fan of either oversize barrels or undersize bullets and looooooooong throats due to pressure issues. I'm sure there muct be a website on Newtons someplace on the 'net. I've only actually seen 1 Newton in my lifetime. The $2500.00 price tag, this was 15 years ago, put me off. Neat rifle though.
