Is there a correct OAL for the .223 loaded with a Lyman 225415 cast? I have tried different lengths, but currently am using 2.175" ( works in the Ranch Rifle). Also it is a left hand action. First cartridge up from the left points the nose too low and hits the back flat of the barrel with about half or less of the bullet nose. Pressing the under cartridge down with my thumb, then sliding the loose cartridge forward with my thumb allows cartridge to chamber. I have on occasion been able to feed without a hitch, always when holding rifle horizontally, and maybe the correct bolt speed? No problem with spirepoint objects. I believe the magazine lips could be adjusted somehow to get the cartridge pointing up higher to center the barrel chamber. Also, how is that done if needed? Thanks in advance, Dave
