Redding/Saeco 68

Cast & lubed these today. This is the only #68 mould I have. How does it compare to yours?

The points on a Lyman are just a smidge wider and the points on a Lee are a bit narrower, enough to see obviously. They are in about the middle of the varying H&G 68 molds of the past. To my mind they are about as accurate of a 45 bullet you can find. I also have the O69 which is flat base. My opinion is that it is a hair better when it comes to accuracy but not worth the difference to change molds and when I say more accurate, that is from a lot of rounds shot from a Ransom rest and the 069 was a very tiny amount superior but since the bevel base is easier to load because the brass doesn't have to be flared as much, I might like the 068 better. As you have already found out, their molds are excellent quality.

I also have the Saeco 068 , with 54,227 bullets cast since 1979 my 8 cavity mould was $122.00 then, it has shot excellent from at least 12 different 45acp pistols .
I also have the 062 170gr swc as well as the 058 215gr swc.

Thanks guys. This is a new mould for me which came in a deal. I have 8 of these set up for a Magma machine. I installed one of these in my Master Caster & made a few yesterday. A local Deputy is going to use them in his Kimber Match.
