I left outa' here about 11 AM this mornin' and went down to C. W. Harman, a (very Christian & conservative!) family owned business just outside of Floyd to pick up some lumber. I spent the rest of the day closing in the deck so the dogs could go out there with me without being able to get out. Now, Dolly can join me on the deck in the afternoons while I'm on grilling detail.

Life is good in Floyd County!

Now you just have to keep Dolly from learning how to nose the lock open.

I'm lucky, every dog we have had could just be let outside. they never left our property or got anyway near the road.

I would be more worried about her learning how to open the lid on the grill...........................................

Dolly has already talked the cats into knocking items of interest off the kitchen countertop onto the floor, where she can decide if it is worth eating or not. We now have to put the sliding door off the shower across the kitchen doorway when we leave the house.
