Loaded my first 9mm rounds today with Lee 358 105 SWC's. I was quite surprised when the first case came out of the LnL AP powder measure dang near full of powder, wasn't expecting that. Smallest / shortest case I have reloaded up to this point has been the .40. I do lose a flake or two of Unique from the vibration of the shell plate as it makes its way around to the bullet seating station. Tried them in a Glock 26 and Ruger P95, they feed fine in the Glock but there might be some issue with the driving band hanging up on the feed ramp of the Ruger. Both the Ruger and Glock slugged at .356 so I sized the bullets at .357 and tumble lubed them with 45/45/10.

I have the same mold and have yet to use it. I bought it for the intent of using it in my 380's & 9mm's.

I have loaded the same bullet for the 38 which works great. Will be giving the 380 a go once one of the 2 sets of dies I have on order gets here. Hope they don't both ship at the same time and I have time to cancle one.

How do they shoot MuddyDog?

Those look like 115-125gr. I can remember loading some for a Luger and gave up on them
after I had to shoot a jackrabbit 3 times. Like stabbing it with a pencil. They're OK for paper
though. This is what I'm using now. Jack...

I just got one of these to load in a friend's .380, but I plan to make my self a bunch of 9mm out of them too. I'd appreciate recipes , as none of the 3 manuals I have lists a 105 grain load. I have bullseye, IMR SR 4756, WSF and universal. I use 45/45/10.

What is your C.O.L? Also where did you get your load data?

I am using Lymans 102 grain load data as a start. I have not shot these in 9mm yet so the load is a work in progress. My COL is, the case mouth is taper crimped in the crimp groove of the bullet. I will post up my load findings once I shoot the load and see what works.

O ya 380 dies inbound. Been waiting for 2 months on a Midway back order and have been checking a few other sites as Midway stated it would be June before they came in. Found a set last week at Palmetto State Armory and just today I got a shipping confirmation that they are on there way so I canceled the Midway back order. Soon I will be trying the 105's out of the Ruger LCP. 9mm test is set for Saturday.

I have been using 105 SWC's in .38 SPL, 9 mm, and .380 with great results.

For .38 I load 3.5 gr of Bullseye for a plinking load in a Ruger GP100 and 2.8gr for a powder puff load in a Ruger LCR

For 9mm I load 4.2 gr of Bullseye and my Ruger SR9c loves it.

For .380 I use 2.8 gr of Bullseye in a Bersa Thunder. Very shootable.

Your results may vary a bit but you will be in the ballpark.

Nice looking rounds. I have 2 9mm's. A Browning Hi-Power that will shoot bullets sized to .357 and a S&W that will not chamber rounds that have been sized to .356. Have not had any issues with hanging up with the 9mm but my Colt combat commander does not like this style of bullet.
