First off I have never cast a Boolit
I just got all my supplies so I will be casting very soon
So up until now I have been buying someone else's cast Boolits sized .308, .3085 and .309,
lube unknown and have had no Joy, accuracy was more of a shotgun pattern.
Well I got some 185gr. GC sized .311 lubed with LLA.
Its a whole new ball game now :)
I want to thank everyone here that has been giving me advise :drinks:
Can't wait to roll my own.

1903A3, 4 groove, Iron Sights.
This is very good shootin' for me as it is hard to focus and get a clear picture.
This load is consistant, I shot more groups and all were the same at 50yds.
I only shot one group at 100yds, ran out of ammo.

50yds.

100yds.
That flyer I called the second I pulled the trigger, I knew I was not ready and twitched.

Congratulations on hitting a good mix. What boolit is the 185 Grain you are shooting?

I'm pretty sure it is the Lee C312-185-1R, but not possitive.

With only a few bumps in the road, it will only get better from here on in. Way to go! Good shooting.

Good stuff. My 311-041 shoots like that out of a lot of my rifles.

Great results! You are learning that boolits really need to be a bit oversized to work well.
One reason is to limit the possibility to tip inside the throat of the rifle and keep the boolit
going straight as it enters the bore. The other is to make sure there is no gas leakage.

Given the relative cost of a jbullet and a boolit, especially today(!) you should be happy with
your results.
