There is one on Auction Arms,just wondering,who makes sizing dies for this?
I am not planning on bidding,just curious...

PESCO, of course, is Police Equipment Sales Company, which was in business, if memory serves, for a short period right after WWII. Newcomb introduced the straightline progressive. Buchanan bought the rights from him. After the war this line pasted to the Gerstenburger brothers of Chicago. They called their company PESCO.

Decades ago I called all the Gerstenburgers in the Chicago area. Found the wife of one of the brothers. They made their stuff in her basement. Quit when her husband died.

The Gerstenburger straightline progressives were nothing to write home about. I owned several. They had their structural problems. It was this design, however, that CH copied and modernized to make their series of Auto Champion presses.

But I never knew that the Gerstenburger's made anything other than progressives. Still this looks like their work.
