Haven't seen much locally - stopped in at the local farm & fleet this morning before work - bare shelves. Asked the guy stocking if they had any .22 - he stated they had 525 round bricks but a line I people had snatched them up when they opened then he said hold I. - let me take a look. Came back with a box for me. $22 out the door. Sane prices - hope it is a sign of things to come. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/19/ygy6ujuz.jpg

One of my LGS's had shelves FULL last Saturday morning. They were selling 50k rounds a day. Getting new shipments in daily. Limiting amounts on everything, but they had 500 round packs of .223 and 7.62x39. 1k round lots of 45 and 9mm. Limiting 50 round boxes of most pistol ammo to 2 boxes and .22's to 2 boxes of 100. Bought 2 boxes of mini mag for $9 a box.

Last Tues. 2 of these same boxes of .22`s sold in an on-line auction locally for $250! CCI 100 count trays of green tag target .22`s sold for $198 for 5 trays! Other .22 ammo sold for equally ridiculous prices.Robert

Prices are crazy - but it is nice to know our local farm & fleet and fleet farm refuse to raise prices. They have enacted limits to curtail the resellers. Still sell out pretty quickly though.

I heard a new one today. There's a limit of how many boxes you can get at one time at my local Gander Mtn. Sales guy says that guys will come in when they open, load up, and then prowl around the store stashing ammo here and there. Then buy their limit. Come back later, ammo is sold out, right? Except they've hidden ammo all over the store. They retrieve their stashed ammo, and get another limit.
Amazing, huh? Gander has to have their sales guys wander the store and return the ammo to it's normal spot when they can find it.

Local Academy had 9mm, 38spc, 9mm Mak, 45, and 7.62x39 yesterday at lunch time. No rush on it, either. 3 box limit. No .22 though.

One LGS is starting to build an inventory again... nice to see after having his shelves cleaned out for months!

Mike refused to raise prices, so he got sold out, unlike the other couple places that I shall never visit again, the price gouging jerks!
