I did 1000 9mm in one sitting. On a Dillon 550.
I thought that was a lot, until I talked to a buddy of mine who has done 5000 in one day...
My "personal best" is 1000 in one sitting, what's yours?

I took a mental health day once and loaded 2500 28ga shotshells and about 1000 45acp's... all in one sitting.

5000, WOW!
Have done 2000 223 62 grainers for my EBR's in one session quite a few times on one of my 550's. Think I got tennis elbow from that! Of course that was when components were ALOT cheaper than they are now...

I must be a wuss. I max out in the 300 to 500 range with my 550. I just get tired and bored. I don't like loading once I get tired and bored.

This happens to me more often than not.

700 on a LCT. It was three different bullets for my 357s. I had nothing better to do on a Saturday morning.

I used to sit down and do 500-600 of .357 or .45ACP in a sitting (not counting bathroom breaks and time to go refill my coffee cup) on a Lee single-stage. But that was when I didn't even have a dog to keep me company and nothing but work, and then hunting and shooting to take up my time. Hey, it left me no time to spend at the bars like most of my friends were doing, and believe it or not, but reloading is a much cheaper hobby than child support. I bet they had more fun though... nevermind.

I load on a single stage press.
200 in one day is about all I want to load....dale

A few years back, when I was shooting competition (and running through 25-30,000 rounds a year), I'd routinely load 800-900 at a sitting, either on my D550 (.45 ACPs) or SDB (.38 Spl). These days, though, 400-500 is about all the fun I can handle before my butt goes to sleep.

I have done 250 9mm in a sitting with a Lee Reloader press. I'd have done more, but that was as many as I could do before I ran out of places to put them and had to change from loading to seating.

I've also done 250 in a sitting using a set of hand-held 9mm Lee Loaders. (The ones that you use a mallet with.)

I did 800 .223 last night in one sitting, finished up the last 200 this morning. A thousand rounds is about all I like to do. Much more often it's 3-400 at a sitting and usually batches of 100 of this and 100 of that. That's on an RCBS Pro 2000.

I've done 1100 45 ACP in one sitting but I paid for it!!! 400-500 is about all I'm good for anymore before the joints start to go.

I always try to load in 100 round groups. I'm lucky to get time to finish that much. With two kids under 4 I don't push it to often, maybe once they are older.

Well do you really mean one sitting or one day? If I load sitting the every 100 primers I have to standup and replinish the primers, also have to add more brass sometimes more powder also.

Back when I was in my thirties , shot competition ,reloaded for some fellow club members and an indoor range it was normal for me to load 5K plus a day and some days 10K plus. CH Auto Champ Mk.V used for 9mm,.45ACP,.44Mag. , Star Progrressive used fo .38Special and .357 Mag. Either of these machines is capable of 1 K per hour as long youhave a helper filling primer tubes, keeping brass collater toped off, inspecting finished rounds etc..

These days I only load for myself and mostly just load a couple of hundred and at a very relaxed pace which takes 30 minutes or so.

Mine wants to start shooting, which means I'll need to spend more time reloading, so maybe I can talk her into an upgrade. Well, after the current insanity dies down, anyway.

300 .25 ACP on my Lee single stage, though I did prime on a RCBS bench primer next to it. Those little bullets liked to make a leap onto the spent primer tube if I let them.

I had some [lots of] help, but knocked out 10,000 12 ga trap shells in one day, I would have done more but run out of hulls.
I was using the l/s-1,000 ponsess warren which is still set up for that same load come to think of it.
I have never even come close to trying that again.
I have size/lubed 8,000 boolits in one day since then.

I have loaded 5k in 1 weekend when my Dad come down. 38 Special, 357 Mag, 41 Mag, 44 Special and 45 Colt. It was tough considering I had to lube most the bullets before we loaded.

I believe Runfiverun just won the internet with that count

Just shy of 1K of 40 S&W on a Lee Classic Turret. That's at about a 250/hour pace.

I've got 6 tubes each large and small. I load 600 and then take a break. I think my concentration would suffer loading much more than that, and a lack of concentration can mean disaster pretty easily with that press.

most i have done in a day was 3500 .45 acp on a leepro 1k
i would have done more but i had them in a larcg storage bin and it fell off the chair it was sitting on. one of the rounds went off and scared the bejesus out of me. .45 SWC caught the primer just right. has a perfect dent from an angle. i still have it around here somewhere, i will look and see if i can find to post a pic.
have dropped lots of ammo in my life and never had something like this occur "i honestly think it was possible"

now i usually only do 1k. once the box of primers is gone i call it quits

anyone ever find a good use for the plastic primer holder trays?

When RCBS came out with the Piggyback I bought one. Set it up for 44 Mag. Loaded every 44 Mag case I had that day, over 1500. Worked so nice I just couldnt quit. Had been using a single stage for many years. Cranking one round out with one pull of the handle seemed like heaven.

the plastic primer trays are great for counting out large size steel shot.

I won't ever do that many again... ever.

lately I can go in and fill the primer tubes and have 2-k primers [large and small] all ready to go for one of the dillons.
I will knock out 2-3-400 and go do something else then come back throughout the day.

littlegirl and her boyfriend loaded and then went and shot 500 rounds in one day.
I thought that was a pretty good feat.

400-500 on a SDB. Attention goes at that point and I take a brake.

My parts get tired too.

I once loaded 1300 9mm on a Dillon in one afternoon, 600 38's many times, but not these days. I load 300 max now, more than that and I tend to get bored. In fact, now I seldom load more than 200 at a crack

loaded 1500 12 ga. on the Ponsness-Warren, 900 .223 on the 550, Sized and lubed 2500 148 gr .38s. Those are the biggest runs that I've done.

I do my case prep ahead of time...constantly prepping batches of cases.
I dump powder and seat bullets one loading tray at a time, but usually start on a Friday night for a couple or three hours and then finish up a batch of 500 the following morning/afternoon. I could maybe load faster if I didn't weigh every 10th powder charge and if I wasn't constantly measuring OAL with a caliper, but I feel better if I do it that way.

All powder is dumped with a Lil Dandy powder measure and loading is done on a RockChucker.

I did 500 .45acp with a RCBS Rock chucker and a little partner press. After that I decided it was cheaper for me to go out and pay the 9.50 a box of 50 and still keep my sanity. With prices today I think I would just grin and bear it if I still had to use a single stage.

I second the Fifty, shoot 25 and then do housework. Keeps me from being prevented from loading fifty some other day. I figure if she sees me helping her around the house , I can always load fifty that night; or the next day fifty more. Especially if it is a Saturday.
Once, I repeat ONCE, I told my wife, if she would rather see me have a girlfriend and drink at a bar!! Now I just load fifty, at one sitting; and I don't drink!!

500 hundred to 1000 on the progressive, 250 to 500 on the turret press and 50 to 100 on the single stage. That's roughly my attention span, I could probably load more at one time but I find my attention begins to stray.

Max - 500 round 9mm on a Lee single-stage in one sitting. I can focus when I want. I haven't done that much since - though I will often do 200-300 at a time.

I've loaded a thousand on a 650 in one sitting. Before that marathon I wasn't clear on why people pay extra money for a roller handle, I get it now.

I've done 4-500 at a sitting on the Dillon, and 250 on the Lee Classic Turret.
These days I'm usually content to run smaller batches of 50 or 100 at a time.

I routinely loaded 1000 rounds/day on my 550 when I was shooting 20,000 rounds per year. I loaded up a couple thousand 45ACP loads last year. Cast them in one session, took two good sessions to load them. Cover hadn't been off the old 550 for 10-11 years but it still runs like a champ.
Normal batch nowadays is 20-50 rounds on a single stage and that generally takes 2-3 sessions.

on a dillon 650 I usually average appro 350 to 400 an hour .. I do not ruch thru them .. could surely go faster if I wanted to
