I'm considering a mold from NEI .451-272-BB for shooting in my Ruger Bisley 5 1/2" .45 Colt. I like the large flat point I'm concerned about the stability of the bullet out to 200 yards. Has anyone had experience with that bullet in a Ruger? What loads would anyone recommend? I'm thinking of 15 gr 2400 as a starter load.

have that mold actually its one cavity in a dual pattern mold i had walt make up years ago. Love the bore riding wadcutter there actually zero ogive taper, think full .440 wadcutter ahead of crimp groove all way to meplat. Have tested it various .45s with twists fron 1in 15 to 1in 24. Never had great results in any Ruger. S&W do ok depending on throat diameter. Only gun that ever really impressed me for accuracy was in FA m83 at 1100 to 1200fps velocity.
