I am doing the final shaping on my "really rough bore" gun build. It is percusion side lock and kinda on the shorter side. Shall I go straight or keep a pistol grip look. Originally I was going for a carbine I saw down at yorktown museum by Jaeger.(that one was stright). That stocked cracked and I am struggling now to find a identity for this build with this new wood. Somebody needs to push me over the edge on this decision. I can't handle all this responsibility!
