They sell lyman #2, super hard, 16/1, 20/1, 30/1, 25/1, pewter, babbitt, tin and lino. Now the only reason i'm looking at amazon over using the rotometals site is that I get about 60 dollars in amazon gift cards a month between work and other stuff i do online. So I am trying to do the math what would give me the most for my money if I cut with pure lead. I figure I can stock up on ingots and alloy as needed, so my question is what would be the best way to get the most of these alloys

Personally, I would not consider Lyman #2 because it is using a lot of tin, with not that much gain. The 2-6-92 cut 50-50 would still give you something similar to WW.

The lead/tin mixes are something you can make yourself if you have tin and not pay needless shipping on the lead.

Pewter and Babbit can be a variety of unknowns so may not be a reliable additive to lead.

Your only real choices remain to be superhard, tin and Lino.
In a PM you indicate you will be mixing lead and lino at 50/50 for rifle and the rest of your shooting will be for 357 (40K psi and 45 ? about 18K. Given the availability of both lino and tin (often offered in reclaimed solder biscuits) I would go with those both from the Forum as well as your other source. Keep it simple and store only lino and tin/solder. If you feel you really need a hard alloy, get the 2-6-92 for your 357 mag uses. Get a stamp set so you can clearly mark what you are buying or you will end up with mystery metal. Good luck. Dusty

Yeah I know, prime would make it really great. Thanks for your help guys. Guess its time to start slowly building up some good alloys.

I'm guessing this would be a good way to get Antimony. I would just have to find a good mix for it.

You could get this one for the high Antimony content. 70% lead 30% Antimony.

Amazon gift cards would be a game changer but for those that don't have that available ordering straight from Roto Metals is cheaper than Amazon. I just looked at the Amazon price of Super Hard at $25.24, Roto Metals web site has it for $22.95.

Roto Metals has free shipping on orders over $100.00.
