nicely done, although it's time for you to get a WAYYY bigger pot with a pour spout!

i have the exact same turkey fryer, i need to add a heat shield to put more of the heat into the pot, use less gas.

Very Nice! Spawn is right though. You need a much bigger smelting pot, about 4 more muffin pans, and you could probably cut your smelting time by 2/3rds.

You should get a larger pouring ladle. I grabbed a #5 from rotometals.com. Works FANTASTICALLY for doing bulk runs of lead smelting.

Also, why did you not flux your material? There's a lot of dirt and nastiness that those weights accumulate over their years.

Thanks for posting these links. It is nice to see the way that different people do it.

I haven't smelt anything as of yet, but I was wondering about not fluxing also. Thanks.
