Need help identifying cartridge

A friend of mine gave me 3 of these bullets to help identify. It's an 8mm Mauser cartridge.

He's been firing them but getting some soft primers and a lot of misfires. He got them from a friend
who was not able to identify the source.

But i'm not sure which part of the headstamp is the identifier.

Any insight would be helpful. I've never seen scrolling like this on a headstamp before...

top left markings appear to be "10",
the bottom markings appear to be "v.9r", or "y.9r".

It appears to be Persian or Arabic. Right side is numbers, 7092

Looks like the Egyptian ammo I bought a few years ago. Good stuff, but is corrosive primed so be sure to clean.
