Woo-Hoo!!!

My buddy drug me over to the Boise Gunshow yesterday. Kirk Bryant of Shiloh Sharps was there with their display board. Centerpiece was a hunting rifle based on the former Axtell Model of 1877. AKA the "Overbaugh" or "O" model.

If you are a Sharps fan, this is wonderful news. Better yet, the basic model will retail for about $2000!

I walked about one and a half aisles before I was forcefully reminded that I am NOT over the case of Pneumonia I got four weeks ago. Went home and slept about eight hours, got up and ate supper, and went back to bed for ten more.

What Bette Davis said "gettin' old ain't for sissies...".

There was some glitch to those where a part was prone to breaking. I hope Shiloh got that figured out before marketing.

My first Shiloh was going to be a 77, til this "as new" 74 came knocking on my door at a price I couldn't pass up. Guess it will have to be my second Shiloh---Wait!!---I hear someone knocking at the door.
