I visited an old fellow from my shooting club who said he wanted to give me some lead, knowing I am a caster.
He had three of these ingot sheets that he got from a friend who was a truck driver and picked it up on a drive through some years ago. He said the trucker had given them to him knowing that he was a shooter.

Anyone know if the Rhino is a brand mark?
I've tried to chop the ingots out using an axe and it takes some work, so I don't think it is pure lead. I was thinking of doing it 50/50 with WW. If it is harder than WW, then I can use them for magnum loads. If it is softer it will do fine for the .38 Specials and such.

The sheets weigh about 80 lb each.

Please note that I live in Sweden.

I don't recognize the emblem, but my best guess is that you have some kind of babbit. Alloyed for making an industrial part.
Cautiously proceed with optimism.

looks more like a bull to me, maybe something from torro rosso [sp?] corp.
anyway,,,, anything shaped like that, that is pure lead, should be bendable by hand.

240 lbs is worth testing. Look for a scrap yard or welding shop with an XRF type alloy analyzer.
