I have one that has 450 on the top...

Does that number designate what caliber die it is for?...

No, it designates a boolit profile. A particular seating stem may work for several different boolits. My 287641, 7 mm Mauser seating die has a 450 stem.

A Lyman reloading or cast bullet handbook will have a seating stem-to-mould cross-reference.
