I like that Lee 155gr alot, it works great in my 300 Blk and '06! With 23 gr load those should be moving quite fast! I'm getting 2304 fps in my Rem 7400 with 50 gr IMR4350 and 1915 fps with 16 gr Lil'Gun in the 300 Blk.

Steel cases?
Yes, the steel cases are everywhere...Some what a PITA. But I got the cost down to 12cent per round.

Can't wait to get some of those made up myself. Did you use berdans or convert them?

I've seen vid of that being done, but had no luck when I tried it. I couldn't get a punch just the right size to make it work. Do you have the special gizmo you put the case in and pop the end? Detailed info on getting that method to work would be appreciated. The short vids I've seen don't really give great tips on it.

I just place my X39 Berdan case in a X39 shell holder which sits in a wooden block with a whole drilled in it for the primers to fall through. I use a regular nut driver handle as a punch,if the fit is close but not tight enough to provide a good seal on the case mouth a strip of ZipLock freezer bag places over the case mouth before inserting the punch takes care of that problem.

PDShooter,

That's the boolit I use for my AK reloads. Lee 155 gn. w/gas check. I also use 23 gns. of IMR 4895 as you cannot overcharge a 7.62x39 case with that powder. Also use it (the 155 gn.) in my M1 Garand over 36 grains of 4895. Never thought of trying to deprime berdan cases. I usually just scrap those. I have some Yugo brass cased berdan primed ammo. After I shoot it up I'll post to see if anyone wants the cases. I've only got 52 pieces of boxer primed 7.62x39 for reloading. BC

I re-size the case, then use water to remove the primer. Then let air dry, overnight. Neck size again before installing the new primer.
