Any one know what caliber this case is from? it has the numbers 60 and 84 stamped on the head. thanks HC67222

My guess 7.62x54R

It appears to be as stated above 7.62x54r russian
The 60 code would be the State Factory at Frunze, Kirgisia Russia. The 84 could be year of manufacture. You should have shown the Head stamp

Yeah, but even I can see that it's run of the mill surplus 7.62x54R. Back chamfer and red commie primer sealer are dead giveaway.

i could be wrong but umm it aint brass ( take a magnet to it ...) it does indeed look like the 7.62 russian round , mic the inside of the neck , that'll help narrow it down

Neck size is 0.337, case size is 0.473, sorry about the pic's can't seem to get a clear shot of the head stamp. thanks all , HC
