Question on reboring a 99 Savage

I believe I will be in possession of a Savage 99 in 308 Winchester in the near future and I was thinking about having it rebored to 358 Winchester. Does JES do work to Savage lever actions? I also have a concern about it feeding properly afterwards. It is a rotary magazine model and will I have to modify the spool as well?

There should be no problem with your conversion. I can't speak for JES, but this is an easy conversion. The Barrel work is difficult,, or perhaps pains-taking is a better choice of words, but the spool should present no problems.
