I have a .45 cal muzzle loader 35 in barrel. im shooting a 450 grain boolit at 1250 fps. now if i have it zeroed right on at 100 yards what would the drop be at 450/500 yards. any help please

450yd=-255in 500yd=-332in approximately

it is a little hard to predict without a ballistic coefficient for the bullet. Almost forgot we don't know how high the sight is above the bore line.

Assuming a stable bullet with a BC of about .275 and sights about .75" above bore line, the drop would be about 250"-325 ". That basically agrees with LeadBrain

how much powder and what kind of powder are you useing behind that bullet. is the bullet cast grooved or paperpatched. thanks before hand.
