Latest Score at the salvage yard... Value ???

Made a visit to the salvage yard yesterday ... They would not sell me any WW's or soft lead after selling me over 1M lbs. over the last few months... Now for the good news I found several rolls of solder and they said "make me an offer" and I did.

What do I have and what is its value? I think it is to valuable melt into boolits.

Yes that is 1000 lbs. He did not run out had about 500 lbs of WW's and 2-3000 lbs. of soft lead.... Just out of the blue he has decided not to sell any more.

Your solder is silver solder, yep . . . pretty pricey stuff. I did a Google search for EutecRod 157-B and it came up as 95.5% Sn and evidently the -B means it's rosin core.

Why ??? Not sure .... They just stated that the owner had instructed them to stop selling lead.

I would guess he's anticipating a price hike.

They may be holding on to their lead until the price rises. I've noticed about a 10% drop in the spot price lately.
