Having spent weeks reading about loading RB's, full bore slugs, sabots, Lee's, Lyman's, Accurate. I thought I would start with a Lee mold but none are available unless i go to FleaBay and pay $50+ for a $20 mold.
I was on the Midway site and they had a Lyman .681 525 gr sabot mold for under $70 and decided - GO FOR IT! I have both a slug barreled and a smooth bore Mossberg. I will be loading light 1100 fps loads for practice and fun. 1500 fps will just plain hurt!!!
So now I have another project to keep me busy.
I want to thank all the guys who have contirbuted to this sub-forum. There is a ton of information here if people take the time and effort to ready it.
