I really like my new Marbles tang peep sight on my Winchester Model 94 (1986 vintage). It seems to make aiming much easier. I drilled and tapped my front tang hole @ 2.185" (2 3/16") from center of rear tang bolt hole. This is old factory spacing and will allow many tang sights to fit.

Next i will stone the sear for easier trigger pull.

That is a fine looking stock on that rifle. I love the color.

Thanks. Stock is just a basic stained wood stock from Winchester. It appears to be Walnut in picture, but it is not

Maybe so, still a nice looking rig. My 1969 vintage 94 in .32WS has a birch stock but it's a nice looking rifle, even after I renewed the finish a bit.
Nicely done.

Tang sights are really a big improvement. Just make sure you keep your eye
clear if you don't wear glasses and have a heavy recoiling rifle.

Love those tang sights. But fully agree with MtGun44. Be especially careful when shooting with the muzzel elevated (as in shooting up hill when hunting) and using heavy loads. Ask me how I know!!!!
