Anybody ever seen half or full moon clips for.30 carbine or 32-20, or any of the other .32s? Maybe they could be made?

You might contact Ranch Products. Steve makes quite a few different moon clips and accessories, Midway carries some of the more popular ones.

T.S.,
Thanks for the reference. I'm thinking .30 carbine revolter headspaced for using half moon clips. Could use 32-20 cases sized in 30 carbine die and shortened for single feed. Or both could be squeezed down .018" to make straight walled .32 cases of .357magnum length.

It's pretty easy to shorten .32-20 cases so they'll chamber in a ,30 Carbine Ruger. The rim clearance is fine and my gun will even chamber factory .32-20s.

I've shortened about a box and run them through it occasioanlly and it sure eliminated the chambering problems you encounter with .30 Carbine brass.

I recently purchased a Ruger Buckeye .32-20 so I'm shooting straight .32-20 now.

You can do the same trick with .38 Specials in teh Ruger 9mm convertibles. Trim down .38 Special cases and load in 9mm dies./beagle

TK Custom lists 7 gunsmiths that will machine cylinders for moonclips. I don't know if the conversion you're looking at is doable, but one of them could certainly tell you.
